Dunwoody Nature Center

Dunwoody Nature Center inspires the love of nature and cultivates environmental understanding and stewardship by:
  • Conserving and enhancing Dunwoody Park;
  • Educating children, families and adults of all ages about the natural world and our place in it;
  • Motivating environmental awareness and responsible action.

Woodlands Garden

Woodlands Garden is an urban preserve in the City of Decatur with eight acres of piedmont forest.  The Mission of Woodlands Garden is "preserving a woodland garden as an urban sanctuary to educate and engage the community in the natural world."

As such, Woodlands Garden is the location of many public Shinrin-Yoku walks provided by Renewal by Nature.  A donation of 15% of all walks at Woodlands Garden is donated with gratitude back to the garden as a thank you for using this beautiful space.

Alive in the Wild

Alive in the wild is comprised of spiritual seekers and practitioners who come together in the wilder places to unplug, let go, and tune in.  The mission of Alive in the Wild is to bring people together outdoors for spiritual growth and connection.

Renewal by Nature has facilitated at Alive in the Wild Retreats, including Weekend of Music and Sound, and
Body Wise: Spring Convergence


Elachee Nature Science Center

Elachee Nature Science Center is devoted to promoting environmental understanding through education and conservation.  Elachee seeks to instill an appreciation, understanding and concern for the natural world by fostering an interest in personal commitment to preserving our natural resources and the environment for future generations to enjoy. Elachee will become a national, model environmental education center of excellence building an environmentally literate society capable of sustaining a healthy world for all living things by:
  • Integrating environmental education into all learning;
  • Offering substantive programs and exhibits;
  • Reaching larger, diverse audiences; and
  • Managing the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve.

​Renewal by Nature is honored to be a part of Elachee's Lifelong Learning Program by offering walks as a special guest in the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve.


Nicole Keating, LCSW

Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. Whether it is assisting clients in psychotherapy to navigate the choppy waters of life, guiding fellow professionals on how to be their best selves, or helping others connect and become more comfortable with nature, Nicole offers a kind and patient approach. Her true nature is that of a curious explorer, excited at opportunities to learn and grow, as well as accompany others who want to do the same. Nicole has years of experience training both the public and other mental health professionals on various topics including: diversity, mindfulness in psychotherapy, ethics, telemental health, GLBTQ, suicide prevention, de-escalation, mind-body wellness, preventing burnout, and more!


Charted Waters

Charted Waters are educational consultants who exist to help families who are interested in an environment where their challenges and struggles can be turned into waves of change.

The Farmhouse Inn at Hundred Acre Farm

Nestled in beautiful Madison Georgia, the Farmhouse Inn is just an hour’s drive from Atlanta. This beautiful Bed & Breakfast Inn offers twelve bedrooms made up by our five private guestrooms, a five-bedroom farmhouse and two-bedroom cottage, with the latter two both having a living and dining area, kitchen, and laundry facilities. The Farmhouse Inn offers all the modern conveniences and comforts for up to thirty-four overnight guests. The Red Barn Meeting Room, outdoor terrace, and adjacent lawns can be used for farm weddings, meetings, business retreats, family reunions, and other events for up to 100 guests. 

Renewal by Nature offers two and three day retreats in this exquisite space which, besides the wonderful accommodations, includes an abundance of outdoor opportunities, including hiking, bird watching, and kayaking.  Contact Renewal by Nature for details.


Urban Explorers of Atlanta

Urban Explorers of Atlanta is a dynamic social club and tour company that provides educational hikes and tours throughout Atlanta. With 310 members and a 50/50 single vs. married ratio, Urban Explorers offers opportunity to spend time with smart, successful, and interesting mid to late-career professionals, while being immersed in Atlanta's culture, history, and food.
